Don't be a varsity drop out

So I have been thinking about this for a while. I find it strange how people generally have the perception that you go to schol for 12 years, then you must study to get a degree and then you must slave away for the next 45 years in an averge job that you spend 75% of your life at working for a pig-headed boss and earn menial money. Of course I am only generalising but this seems to be the case in over 70% of the population.

You get the lucky few that have done their travelling straight after high school, they study and then mommy & daddy finance their new company that they have come up with...!

But if you are not one if these lucky few, things are a little different and hence the title of this blog and my opening paragraph.

I often ask, why am I here? Is it to slave away the rest of my life in an average job so that I can have a nice house, nice car and decent lifestyle one day. Well to an extent, yes! But is it so wrong to want to travel for however long? Being finished varsity now and not being able to get that "ideal" job with that "massive" paycheck? People like to paint a story of what your life will be like when you grow up and I am finding out very quickly that its not at all what I thought it would be!

So I say go explore...Where you can find out who you really are without all the comfort zones around you and become more successful in your own right...! You may decide that you want to sell bananas' in Thailand for the rest of your life living in an average house but having a far more than average lifestyle! You can hop from country to country experiencing different cultures, climates and way of life..! You are a tiny speck on this gigantic planet and most people don't ever leave there tiny bubble of home ever! Why would you want to be 70 years old and admit that you have never even been out of your own country (like my grandparents)

I say explore.....your parents aren't always right. And you will be far more of an inspiration when you come back home one day doing what you love.
